are second round cuts going to be huge?
by: pnmnow that second round is over, are houses cutting pnms based solely on the conversations from today? Or do they still care about involvement, grades, etc. I can't stand waiting a whole week!

Same as before. They'll mainly cut for class rank first round and won't go back unless they have to choose between you and another pnm and then they'll do it by what values are more important. So if grades are the most important to them(like if it was theta) and you had a higher gpa than the other girl, she'd be cut

Grades will still matter for an invitation or bid list. All else being equal, if a chapter has 2 girls where one has a 2.8 and another has a 4.0, there is a pretty good chance the one with better grades will be higher on the list. While we don't know what goes into each chapter's scoring and there are never two PNMs exactly the same, this is not a completely valid example but I don't want you to think that you might never be cut for grades after round 1.

They already cut for grades. They are not going to go back and be like oh this girl was the best but she has a 3.4 gpa whereas this girl was okay but she has a 3.8. It doesn't work that way. All sororities want girls who's get along with them first and foremost. That's why all of them cut on grades first day because there is not enough time to really talk and remember every pnm.

You are never safe from being cut. You could get cut for any reason from them, not just grades. And because they're a house that rides on the reputation of being smart, don't think they won't stop looking at it

No. I mean I know they didn't cut legacies this round. I'm not a legacy. I just mean now that first cuts are done will being s legacy matter any more?

Have most already cut for class rank? I do like all of the houses that invited me back, but I'm worried that I may not be in the clear for my class rank.
