cuts for legacy

I'm a legacy at a house here, will other houses cut me if they know i'm a legacy somewhere else?

It depends on your attitude about it. If you're set on your legacy house and you seem uninterested, we'll probably cut you.

I had the same question. I am a double legacy at a house here and of course am interested in that house, but I also read here that it doesn't really matter in the long run so I am keeping an open mind...but my biggest fear is getting cut at the legacy house and also other houses because of them finding out I'm a legacy somewhere else and then ending up without a bid. :/

1) Most chapters are required to carry all legacies back to the philanthropy round whether they are interested in you or not
2) A lot of chapters take great pride in "stealing" an XYZ legacy by pledging one
3) Keep an open mind and be polite to every chapter even if you aren't interested
