We had block with them and only 15-20 would come every week. I mean come on, go to your socials or you look like idiots.

These could be your rankings i guess but socially these are off. Top social schedules would switch theta and alpha phi. Alpha phi exclusively mixes with the top, while theta has a ton of rules and does half their events with the middle. Alot about theta makes them top, but their social schedule is not one of those things.
KD is also a step above Chi O. If you dropped Chi O and switched theta and alpha phi then this would be solid.
You might try to argue this, but socially speaking these are facts based off events and pairings.

nobody likes aphi though. they aren't top tier, that just how it is at ohio state.

Hate to break it to you a phi sweetie, but looks and social calendars are only certain aspects of what makes a house top tier. There's more to it then just that

A lot of different things make a chapter top tier, but guys really only care about looks, personality, and how fun they are socially.
Yea theta is top and a great sorority, but Nobody wants to have events with them. Yea alpha phi maybe Is kind of annoying and cliquey, but they're hot and rage

so today was the first day of recruitment (I also did fall preview) and I can honestly say that the girls at the houses I went to seemed lame or super fake. I guess iM just bummed because I really wanted to join greek life but I don't get a good vibe about sororities in general here

The first two days are very surface so that's not unnusual. I would at least wait until Sunday before making any generalizations. I had a lot of great conversations today but I know towards the end of my day I was so tired of talking to people. Sunday should be much better tho

Straight talk here-first day is usually rushed, overwhelming and stressful (for both sides). Conversations can often be superficial and barely scratch the surface-there isn't time to do much more than that. To expect more than that at this point is not being realistic. You will find more meaningful info and conversations as recruitment progresses. Hang in there. You will get used to the rhythm of recruitment, learn more about each house, find houses that you like, and have some really good conversations with some great girls.

The houses are trying to make you like their house best. So yea the girls come across fake. What you need to do 3 round have a list of questions of things that are important to you. i.e ask what the house does for sisterhood actives. google question to ask during rush to help. Also try to get a feel, look around see how the girls treat and talk to each other. look around try to feel the vibe of the house and if it still feels fake then it is and remember greek life isn't for everyone. So what if you don't join OSU has so many other opportunities.

I disagree- and this is personal preference, I think Gamma Phi has improved enough where I see them on par with AXO and Fuzzy. I give them a lot of credit for their campus presence/enthusiasm. I think this rush will be important for them, if they get a good pledge class I think they'll be in a good spot.
