The only pro I can see that would be the same for every sorority is not having to pay dues and more time to do your own thing. Cons is you lose the networking aspect, your sisters will probably be pissed and you can never go Greek again.

Another option is opting to go alum early, you have to come up with a legitimate reason but that way you keep the networking aspect

At this point, you're initiated. You can't re-rush. There's not really any point in dropping at this point unless you don't want to pay the dues or the girls are really awful to you or whatever.

I think you should think about why you joined in the first place and what made you choose the sorority throughout the process. If it is from harassment, etc. then I can see why you would want to drop. I think some cons of dropping are networking and not always having something to do just as you did before while being in it. Some pros are always having someone to lean on (support system) and going out with your friends. If you feel left out, try going to events with them and see how it goes.

If you just joined this semester, wait until the end of next semester before you drop. The first semester is overwhelming, and you haven't had enough time to really form those true friendships. Joining a sorority is not instant friends, it takes time.

Pros: You save money, more free time to do your own thing

Cons: You might end up wondering 'what if?', the time and money you have already spent on it will have gone to waste, and being in greek life really can be fun

Like the other poster said, think about why you joined in the first place.
