Despite being on social probation, Beta is on the up. Met some pledges at a date party and was impressed. The guys were respectful and had good personalities. Betapalloza was also a ton of fun. I think they'll improve with each new pledge class

In case you haven't read headlines the past few years beta as a national org has a terrible rep and for good reason. As a result this chapter is on a very short leash with their national and OSU and probably always will be. The truth is their social life is pretty weak and they are more of an academic/service oriented fraternity than a social one, pretty similar to SigEp. The fancy box they live in over on 15th is basically just a glorified dorm given how little they are allowed to do in it.

Basically a bottom tier frat with a top tier house, what more is there to say? 75% of their guys wouldn't be out of place at any lower tier fraternity.

I feel pretty comfortable going to their events some of the guys are super cute, classy and fun but there are a few randos sprinkled in probably to fill their house.
