new to greeklife... how's pepp?

hi I'm a new freshman coming to Pepperdine and I have absolutely no background in Greek life... I'm from the northeast so it's not really a big deal there and I really want to join a sorority but I'm not what most people would consider the sorority "type"... any tips for Pepperdine specifically? And what sororities are good here especially for someone in my situation? Thanks so much everyone :)

Kappa typically takes the girls who aren't sorority "types". However, Alpha Phi would be your stereotypical hot girl sorority.

I'm not the "greek type" either, and the ONLY reason I rushed was because everyone said it wasn't the typical southern sorority world. I'll tell you I'm really stoked I did it. Loved every year I spent in Greek life. Was GREAT for socializing and getting involved. I strongly urge you to do it. You can always change your mind later! :) Good luck at Pepperdine!
