Kappa has improved a lot on the down to earth scale. 4 years ago they were the "blonde and rich" sorority. They still have members that fit this description (don't they all) but have seriously diversified over the past few years both racially and personality-wise. I used to dislike kappa for their rich stuck upness and model status women that only cared about formals and date nights and instagram feeds, but I have now found that several of their members actually have much more depth. Refreshing!

Theta is the best of all worlds sorority. There are the beauty queens and models, the art chicks, the e-girl-esques, and the girl next door gals. All of them meld together to form a very chill, very cool, seemingly strong sisterhood. Theta has had a reputation for being down to earth and approachable for the past 4 years.

G phi is different from the others. They have a unique group of girls. They are the most accepting sorority at pepperdine, and their sisterhood is strong because of it. G phi is for the girls looking for a place to belong and grow. If you don't care about being "cool" and "popular" in the eyes of the avg pepp student, definitely go g phi. Not that you can't be cool or popular if you're in it, but people will judge you as that by first impression.

I truly don't have much to say about DG, they're pretty low key, as in, whatever drama they have doesn't typically get out to the pepperdine public. The one's I've met are nice enough, although they do exude a vibe of being "cooler than u". DG is very cliquey and are full of cool girls. Not catty, just cool and intimidating. They've been top tier for a while but honestly I don't know any personally or any that stand out by name.

Tri Delta is a mixed bag of girls. There are some on one end of the spectrum that would have made good A phis, and on the other end of the spectrum, G phis. In between are some girls that would have also been great for theta or pi phi. The reality is, it's hard to judge tri delt because their members range wildly, they're not cookie cutter. Overall, sisterhood is strong, philanthropy is strong, social media presence is eh, and involvement on campus is strong. Are they the hottest girls? A handful of them are, and the majority are cute or pretty. They do be pretty smart too thoooo.

A phi is a group of girls who seem like they all don't even want to be in a sorority, they're just in it to say they're in it. I've met very few a phis that were actually nice and not stuck up or stand offish. They definitely go out a lot and have money. They're always concerned with their instagram feed. Middle tier because most other sororities are afraid of them, would be top tier if they were more approachable. Frats prize an a phi for a night, but not gf material.

The Thetas I know are cool. Nice, pretty, smart, social... If you're a nice person, they'll see that and like you. They hang with mostly themselves as they can be clicky in groups, but some are also very close to DG and KKG too. From the outside looking in they value being well-rounded in all aspects of Pepperdine not just "being in a sorority" ...so you'll see them involved in everything at Pepperdine... philanthropic based, spiritual/church services, athletics and of course at parties. While, they are a very social sorority for Pepperdine, I'd say they are much more conservative compared to all other sororities at LA colleges (USC, UCLA, LMU, etc)... LOL

Best consistent chapter on campus, small pledge classes on purpose it seems. Guys are not too interested in socializing with other fraternities, typical wealthy frat guys.

Ato is the top house by far. Most well liked on campus, friendly and has the best social events. Not very active on campus but make up for it with how tight nit they are. Most competitive Fraternity to get into so they have standout guys. All around what your looking for in a frat ;).
