Let’s just say if you’re not in a sport or in Greek life at this campus no one will know who you are.
Honestly this Greek community has easily become a place many can call home. very solid in their morals and anti-hazing efforts.
Greek life at BG has grown significantly in the past few years. The brand new greek housing has strongly increased interest in recruitment and has allowed for a very tight-knit community.
Love BG, and love greek life. 10/10 would recommend going greek.
If you are interested in going Greek at BG, I highly suggest it. Finding your home and place in BG can be difficult but definitely go through recruitment! You meet so many people. Greeks at BG are always so involved with DM, Relay, and homecoming, it really is such a good time and a great resume builder. If you're looking to party, look no further. Being Greek and partying is a lot safer than being a GDI and partying because you have many people watching out for you.
There basically is no greek system at BGSU all the greek houses are the same and they all live on the same block. And just like BG there is nothing to do.
The new Greek village opened this year and its amazing. Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, customized furniture for each house. The numbers for each sorority and fraternity aren't ridiculously high because there are a lot of them. 12 sororities and 9 fraternities on campus I believe. Attractiveness is key if you want to be in a good sorority or frat.
