It doesn’t mean they have changed or are “ better “; just that they couldn’t recruit enough Girls on their own.

Delta Zeta - ΔΖ Sorority at Northern Illinois University - NIU 1.7 Everyone says they are.” Nice and sweet” I sure don’t see it, but I DO see meddling by college peeps to force Ladies to pledge DZ. Let recruitment run its own course. This House is mediocre- nothing more. Just stating the facts.

Delta Zeta - ΔΖ Sorority at Northern Illinois University - NIU 4.5 One of the classier sororities. Also top house looks wise. They’re the only sorority house on greek row that wasn’t a remodeled dirty frat house. That caught my attention, plus it is fully furnished. The other houses are nowhere near as nice and you have to bring all your own furniture just to live in an ex-frat house. DZ house is beautiful. Needs better greek connections. Needs a chef, but also great saving money factor. Only chapter with mental health and diversity chair. Needs more diversity though, but doing better than most chapters. Pretty girls. Some more rowdy than other. Others are beautiful girl-next-door vibes. Smart. Great at philanthropy.

ASA's home was built from the ground-up as a sorority home, and they are the only sorority to ever live there. DG's home is the same, just built decades earlier than ASA. DG also used to have so many members their overflow all lived in the apartment house to their east. APhi's current home was built in the late eighties expressly for DPhiE sorority, and when they left in 1997 it became apartments for many years. NEVER a frat house. DZ has lived forever and a day at their current address. At least since 1974. Tri Sigs home is unique, and they have also continuously lived there since at least 1974. Plenty of other NIU sororities have come and gone during the past 50 years, and many of those homes were either demolished or rented over the years by other frats and soros. I can think of only two greek homes that never became a greek home again once their original soro left campus, and those are where Chi Omega and Alpha Xi Delta resided during the 70s and 80s.

Delta Zeta - ΔΖ Sorority at Northern Illinois University - NIU 1.7 Hmmmm….. met a few last year and this summer and just not impressed. Seems like they rely more on the in fighting from other houses than actual qualify activities and recruitment. I think they can do better.

Delta Zeta - ΔΖ Sorority at Northern Illinois University - NIU 1.9 Nope. I just don’t see it. They are not attractive and frankly not that nice either. Chubby doesn’t equal class. Sorry. Raise the bar Ladies. Stop putting down others and focus on what makes you special. You can and should be better!
