fraternity rush help

as people more or less know they are coming to state i wanted to make a post about frats and where to rush, especially if you have no connections coming in. if you already have boys in a frat then you probably already know where you want lmao.

big frats (90+ guys)- snu, sig ep, asig, pikapp, lambda, sig chi, (phi delt if they are still recruiting? idk) (maybe theta chi as well)
-the most relevant ones on campus. all of these frats throw with each other, you’ll get occasional solo parties, but you will almost always have 2+ of these frats throwing with each other. On the mixer side all are pretty solid and overall have good relations.

sig ep, snu, and asig throw with each other a lot and are all pretty similar, raleigh/charlotte suburban guys.
snu and sig ep are right next to each other in greek village while asig has a big white house off campus.

lambda, and sig chi and phi delt throw nearly everything together. Also suburban kids but i would describe them as more “country” or “beachy” idk the right word for it. they both have a lot of wilmington guys, as well as raleigh/charlotte.

pikapp and theta chi also throw together quite often. suburban kids, both with a good bit from charlotte/lake norman but.
houses are right next to each other off campus.

(i don’t think geographic region matters a whole lot in recruitment it’s just kinda something i picked up on)

all of these frats are solid, and it really depends on where you find your community. the party’s and mixers and stuff will be there for all of them, but if you hate the guys your around that stuff won’t really matter.

smaller frats (60ish guys)
dke, fiji, pkt
idk a whole lot about these, they arnt bad, but numbers are smaller.

dke has a place off of hillsboro and throws a good bit with the bigger frats

i know a guy or two in both fiji and pkt but don’t really know about these frats themselves. if you fw them then go to one of them.

you’ll have fun with whatever one you join. pick a couple and talk to the guys, i’d say do suicide rush unless ur positive your getting a bid and/or know a guy(s) in the frat.

I went into it not knowing a single soul in greek life and it’s turned out really well. don’t let that be the reason you don’t rush, maybe this will help you get a list going for who u want to contact.
