Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at New York University - NYU 4.4 They were so nice to me during club fest! They really were open to every joining even though I definetly am not a "stereotypical sorority girl". Some say they're socially awkward, but I'd rather have that with genuinely nice girls rather than a sorority who is outgoing but full of horrible sisters.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at New York University - NYU 5.0 I never thought I would find myself posting on sites like these, but I'm tired of reading negative posts about every sorority. There is so much animosity happening around recruitment, and I think we all need a reminder of why it comes down to PERSONAL PREFERENCE and finding a FAMILY. I am a member of AST, so take all that I say with a grain of salt. HOWEVER. I know several AST girls, and I can say with confidence that there is no other sorority that champions individuality and acceptance the way that this sorority does. These girls are involved in everything, and love everything that you do too. They are kind and caring and actually hilarious. The women that I have been privileged to know have shown nothing but love and given nothing but kindness. Anything else said about them is completely untrue. PNMs: Again, I am not in this sorority, but I find them to be some of the most genuine girls and would be honored to be a member of this organization. When you go through recruitment, go with an open heart because reading things on these sites can be damaging and slanderous.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at New York University - NYU 4.4 Alpha Sigma Tau is one of the most involved sororities I’ve seen on campus. They worked their butts off for NYDM, and always have great fundraisers and events for charity. When they’re not doing that you can almost always find members out partying or having fun. I’ve seen their social presence go up ALOT since their new social chair came to light. Just needed better leadership I Guess. But those girls know how to have fun AND be real. Some of my fave girls on campus are AST. Def on their way up. Solid middle tier. Could be too if they worked harder and do well this recruitment. But I like that they pick girls based of who they actually are instead of just by looks like some of the other sororities.
