Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at New York University - NYU 4.5 My second semester sophomore year roommate in 2017 was an AST sister and she was so kind and genuine. Anytime she and her ast friends would come to the dorm room they’d always invite me out with them And treat me as if i was a sister too. They are such genuine girls and make you feel so accepted the minute you meet them. their desire to help in community service and the bond They hve with all in the org is so clearly real and honestly had the timing been right, i would have loved to be in ast (i studied abroad all of junior year). One of my friends in ZBT described them as wifey material and honestly that’s so true. Can’t say enough nice things about these girls!

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at New York University - NYU 4.0 AST is a great sorority for sisterhood! All the girls are super supportive and they really cherish not being a stereotypical sorority girl it’s not hard to fit in because everyone is unique. The girls are super friendly and care about each other! They’ve been working to build up their social image and it seems to be paying off! These girls are not fake and super nice! It’s a great sorority to be in!

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at New York University - NYU 3.9 AST is generally considered to be the bottom tier sorority on campus, but they are very nice girls. They tend to be a smaller tight-knit group but make an effort to mix with other sororities on occasion. They tend to break the mold of the traditional sorority girl and come across as unique, but extremely kind and funny to be around. I think they are not given enough credit for their level of sisterhood and are just as lovely as any other group on here!

AST is generally considered to be the bottom tier sorority on campus, but they are very nice girls. They tend to be a smaller tight-knit group but make an effort to mix with other sororities on occasion. They really were open to every joining even though I definetly am not a "stereotypical sorority girl". Some say they're socially awkward, but I'd rather have that with genuinely nice girls rather than a sorority who is outgoing but full of horrible sisters.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at New York University - NYU 5.0 I never thought I would find myself posting on sites like these, but I'm tired of reading negative posts about every sorority. There is so much animosity happening around recruitment, and I think we all need a reminder of why it comes down to PERSONAL PREFERENCE and finding a FAMILY. I am a member of AST, so take all that I say with a grain of salt. HOWEVER. I know several AST girls, and I can say with confidence that there is no other sorority that champions individuality and acceptance the way that this sorority does. These girls are involved in everything, and love everything that you do too. They are kind and caring and actually hilarious. The women that I have been privileged to know have shown nothing but love and given nothing but kindness. Anything else said about them is completely untrue. PNMs: Again, I am not in this sorority, but I find them to be some of the most genuine girls and would be honored to be a member of this organization. When you go through recruitment, go with an open heart because reading things on these sites can be damaging and slanderous.

But I like that they pick girls based of who they actually are instead of just by looks like some of the other sororities.
