Not the smallest campus, but definitely the most disorganized chapter at CSU. They have the lowest retention rates for a reason. There are serious internal problems when you have 70 at bid day and initiate less than half. I know a few who are actives and a few who dropped, and they all say the same thing. The numbers are very important to them, but they don't always treat the people like they're important. Very sad.

I love Kay Dee! I have several close friends in this chapter and it inspires me how dedicated these women are to each other! I always see themselves positively representing themselves on campus and in the community! I especially love the balloon even they do on the plaza!

I received a bid in fall 2015. I was so excited. I'm a legacy and really wanted to be a KD. They did not make any of us feel special. I just felt like I was adding to their roster, but not their chapter. When they did give us attention, it was beyond overbearing and creepy. It felt like recruitment, like they all had the same script. I called my mom crying before initiation because I absolutely hated it, despite previously wanting to be there. Honestly, so glad I resigned

I never see new members wearing anything KD related. It's always just their executive board. I was friends with a new mem from fall and asked why she didn't wear KD stuff. It's exciting to be in a sorority! She said she was still figuring out how she felt about it (mind you, this is after initiation). New mems shouldn't be deciding how they feel about your chapter after being in it for months.

They seem like more of an extracurricular activity than a sorority. Most of the members seem to just pay dues and show up to mandatory things. I know a lot who have a best friend in their sorority, but they aren't really close as an entire chapter. Their chapter is like having friends in class. You see them while you're there, but when you leave there's no interaction.

So uninvolved the panhellenic and FSL community. Even when there's events with everyone, they don't interact with anyone. It's kind of frustrating how unsupportive they are of other chapters on campus.

There's a reason bids don't stick around for initiation...

They very much keep to themselves. Wish they would get involved more in anything really. It's like there's an awkward KD bubble and none of the members are willing to venture out.

Oh KayDee. Six girls from my hall in the dorms received bids from the chapter. All but one was excited to be there! (The one didn't get into her legacy chapter and nothing was going to please her). By december, we joked that being in KayDee was like reverse survivor. The chapter struggled holding on to anyone. Only two of those girls got initiated. They go to meetings, but don't seem to want to be too involved with anything. Major issues
