All the Kappas I know are really nice. But they do seem to enjoy partying quite a bit. One of my friends is a Kappa, and she said that the house is basically full of cliques - like she's friends with her big and her big big and some other girls, but that she isn't friends with EVERYONE. I don't really know any prominent Kappas on campus.

I think that AChiO is kind of the Hufflepuff of the CMU sororities. They NEVER cut anyone during the rush process - girls cut them. The girls in AChiO are, in my opinion, the nicest of all the sorority girls. They're smart - they have the highest sorority QPA, which is higher than the University Women's Average. AChiO is one of the less popular sororities, because they don't really party like say DG and Theta. Which also means that they don't have a bad rap for raging. A lot of the AChiO girls are nerdy - let's be honest here - but they're involved. They're just probably NOT the president of a really prestigious school organization. The girls of AChiO are fun/social, but more along the lines of "Let's go to the ZOO!" than "Let's go to the frat party!"

Their pledge class this year was great, so they do a great job on picking out and actively rushing the top rush crushes at parties and such. But that does NOT make up for 3 years worth of the ladies and their sloppy behavior. They earned their rep on campus,so enjoy it girls :)

They def. get a bad rap, but in reality have been recruiting down to earth nice girls. Some growing pains, but really involved attractive individuals (overall). Check out the new and younger house.

All the DG's seem to be nice...most of the time. I know a few girls in the house are downright RUDE when they're upset. They're definitely attractive. But beauty isn't everything - they don't seem to be very smart, they seem to party ALL the time, and they seem to stick to themselves. Something to be said for the bonds of sisterhood, I guess.
