I was a recruitment counselor this year and had SO many first years tell me that they felt uncomfortable in theta. Four of the girls in my group dropped theta the first night..they have some wonderful sisters but many of them can come off as callous or unwelcoming.

Very weak sense of brotherhood, I know SAEs who don't even know who some of their brothers are. Weak parties, and (not to generalize the whole org. based on one person) but the last IFC president (an SAE) with support from SAE made it even harder than it already is to hold parties at CMU. At one of the top 20 most stressful schools in the country, this is ridiculous. I get it, CMU isn't a state school, but forcing fraternities to jump through hoops just to throw a party is uncalled for.

I expect to see pike get better and better at this point. On its way up from being off campus. Saw they had a bad rep and took necessary steps including suspending/expelling brothers in order to uphold standards, thats a stand-up move. Definitely the most fun org. on campus. Lots of rumors about pike that are simply not true. Could be more involved on campus.
