junior rush

I am transferring to BU in the fall and I want to join a sorority, however I will be entering as a junior. Will this hurt or help me with rush as a whole or with specific sororities? And if it does hurt my position with specific sororities which ones would they be?

Congrats on your decision to transfer to BU! We hold formal recruitment in the spring and a few chapters will have informal in the fall. I don't know exactly what chapters do and do not take juniors in formal recruitment, but yes, it will slightly hurt your chances, but it shouldn't discourage you from trying!
