life as an independent guy?
by: screwedrushed a frat to the end but didn’t get a bid-what will my social life be if all my friends are in sororitys and frats? And probably will rush again next year (and rush more than one house haha), so any tips are welcome

It kinda sucks bro. Stay close to ur friends in frats and make sure you have 4-5 close friends in a frat u wanna rush next year because sophomore formal rush is brutal unless u know lots of guys. Try to do informal rush in the fall. Biggest thing to know is that ur gonna have to make an effort for a good social life. Students are lazy and greek life forces social interaction, so greek people stay together because they have no incentive to socialize with others. You’ll have to reach out to people and make stuff happen. Also recommend trying to rush one of the business frats. It’s not a frat but there’s still some community
