depression
by: StanleyI feel extremely depressed. No worries I'm not on the edge or feeling suicidal in any way. But I do feel very depressed and I need to know how to get past this and move on. Any suggestions in how to live to get past this? What should I do?

It'll pass... life goes in waves. I have a friend who went through something similar, and even when things were overall going really well for that friend they just felt hopeless/sad a lot of the time, and this went on for about the length of a semester. they felt like they could never be happy again. Now they're back to their happy, social self.
Definitely look into getting help, but also know that you'll feel better and that this isn't permanent.

Lol diseases still have underlying causes. "What is making you have mono?" Could be the fact that the person you've been hooking up with had mono.
"What is making you depressed?" Lots of things could be contributing to your depression, like body image issues, eating disorders, sleep disorders, etc..
Shaming people for asking these questions is ignorant and counter-productive.
