What’s with alpha gam? I’m in a bottom tier at UF
by: UFI was curious what my sorority is like at FSU so decided to look here and see some nastiness towards alpha gam. I’m in a bottom tier at UF and thankful no one treats our house this way. Why be so mean to alpha gam? Someone had to be bottom

The reason there is an organized attack to keep women from joining AGD is because there are fraternities and sororities at FSU that want that HOUSE. Some have already approached AGD about selling and no deal. If AGD goes out of business then someone will get that HOUSE.

If I’m being brutally honest, I’ve never personally seen a sorority anywhere get attacked this much. There has to be some truth in their reviews because literally no other srat at fsu gets reviews like them. Not a recent thing either, their reviews go back years and years.

It's because they're not only a bottom house but they have tons of internal drama that gets aired out here.

i feel like they are hated on because they are a really new and small chapter so it was a perfect recipe to be hated on. its like there always has to be that one group that everyone can collectively make fun of and outcast. its literally just the dumb high school mindset of a lot of people in greek life here. imo no one should care and j join whatever people u like the most.

They are like literally not new at all. One of the oldest srats here. Had plenty of time for improvement but it never happened unfortunately

They are a very old sorority at FSU and they have a gorgeous house. AGD could get better if PanHellenic would make an exception and free up recruitment just for AGD.

To answer your question about giving AGD an exception, the strict and restrictive PanHel recruitment process prevents AGD from being aggressive and recruiting women that other sororities won't see. If every PNM is forced to visit AGD in formal recruitment, then they will never grow and improve. Free enterprise, like the fraternities.

ΑΓΔ is NOT a new chapter at fsu! The newest sorority at FSU is ΑΟΠ. The next newest sorority is ΑΦ. Both ΑΟΠ and ΑΦ were previously on campus many years ago and recolonized.

lol, I’m the OP and yea I was curious what Greek life is like at FSU and specifically, my chapter.
And yes, my chapter is considered bottom tier and I don’t care that it is. We still recruit well, have socials and no one really bashes us, which is why I was so curious about alpha gam. I was wondering if they hazed, had racism incidents or something for everyone to dislike them so much
