sorority tier system IS NOT REAL. here's why
by: anon
hi everyone just want to come on here with a friendly reminder:
no matter how much you hear people talking about "tiers" or read about what "tiers" sororities are in- the tier system is not real. at the end of the day, women join sororities for the sisterhood, opportunities, and friendships. not to be "a top tier girl".
the tier system was created by frat guys and is based on looks and other superficial things. everyone going through panhellenic recruitment will hear this a million times but it must be said. in 10+ years when you look back on your time in your chapter, you're not going to remember how worried you were that a frat guy said your chapter was "mid". you'll remember all the connections you made and the fun times you had.
just always remember- the tier system was created by men. to make us bring each other down. and the system isn't real- so let's do our best to look out for our fellow panhellenic women, especially in times like this when it feels like even our own country is against us.
best of luck to everyone this fall <3

this!!!!! not to mention how wrong the whole idea of ranking other women is anyway. people want different things in a sorority too, like the "top" ones care more about popularity and looks where i feel like the more "middle tier" sororities care about leadership and sisterhood. it all depends on what you value.

Created by men? Lol!!!!!! I’d say a solid 90% of the tiers are created by women. This page is nothing but gossip, innuendo, and ranking….done by other women. Simma down on the man-hate. Watch when a top tier gets in trouble or posts something “unwoke”. The most vicious posts come from other women….and usually from bottom tier or unaffiliated women. Very sad but true.

Please stop. It’s so freakin high school. Nobody truly cares about tiers. The constantly belittling of certain sororities to make yours look better or to make you feel better is exactly the problem. Grow up.
