Sigma Chi Coming Back?
by: FreshmanIs Sigma Chi coming back in the fall? Definitely would be top tier within 2 years at this rate. Best and richest frat nationally with strong west coast connections. (USC, UCLA, Arizona, ASU etc)

I mean that’s just not really how it works all the top tier guys will still want to be around the other top tiers frats. The people that will rush a sigma chi colony will be the guys that don’t fit the frat stereotype and actually want to do all the leadership president building bs that no one really wants to do

Agreed but look at Sig chi at SDSU. Rechartered fall 2020 and already mid up. Strong nationals allows the frats to move up faster

Strong nationals as well as having a previously strong chapter always helps. Legacies come in and help. It takes a few years. Look at the previously kicked chapters that came back. SAE, SigEp, Ato (before they got kicked again) all got booted and came back in the past decade. All surpassed the not as strong chapters in a matter of years.

If you were top tier before and have a good national you can bypass the middle and be top tier again. Poster is correct: Pike and ATO came back and went right back to the top. SAE, Phi Tau and Theta Chi all came back and were almost immediately strong again. KA has never been kicked off and they’re above average. Kappa Sig has never been kicked off and they’re about average. FIGI was kicked off and they’re still just below average.
