What do you recommend?

So, I’m transferring to Florida State. Looking forward to the weather and good football. I’d like to join a fraternity but I understand you need connections. My uncles and cousins are all phi Delts, Fiji’s, betas and piKas but not in Florida. Can you tell me if any of these fraternities at FSU require recommendation, or even look at them if they get them? My sister is also transferring but she’s already initiated in her sorority so she’ll just show up and be a member.

Only the highest tier fraternities you need connections for. The smaller ones will take pretty much anyone that isn't a total bum
