They had a bunch of transfers from other universities. And those count against house total.

If someone wants to drop, the chapter alumnae are informed then tell her family they no longer have to pay dues. They do whatever it takes to keep the house number high so pnms believe they are highly sought after.

So weird that people have such sad lives that they have time to come on here and make stuff up. You know they don’t let someone stay in the chapter for free. You know they are a top chapter. You putting fake information on here over and over isn’t going to change that. Focus on your own chapter.

Literally I have a good friend who told dg she wanted to drop and they let her stay in it and she hasn’t paid a dime in over 2 years. I’ve heard this happening from multiple people but she actually told me so…

I know this for a fact. It's my roommate who is a DG and when she put in to quit they contacted her mom and told her she needs to remain as an "active" member on paper but they'll be handling the dues. Clearly, retention matters to DG and they want to protect their image. Later on, some exec did tell her that she shouldn't count on having her future daughters go DG. Wink wink, there is some sort of record kept on these girls.

I mean to be fair, she doesn’t participate at all(chapter, date parties, meals), she just will get alumni status once she graduates and they still post her for her birthday. I completely believe that dg was not on social probation so I agree with you there. I’m just going off of her word. She wanted to drop because she didn’t like being in it, money was never an issue, and they continue to have her in their chapter total without paying a single due. As far as “worrying about my own chapter,” I recognize when my chapter has flaws. I don’t try to hide it. But when someone asks for the truth, they deserve to know it

XO/DG/KD - mostly in state girls
PM - southern girls without strong pull in top houses
DDD/ADP - mix of in state and out of state girls
ZTA - mostly out of state girls and bad instate rep girls
PBP/AXO - mostly out of state girls

I literally preffed DG and phi Mu. I chose phi Mu over dg due to the cult-like feel of dg. Several IG my friends preffed the same combination or other top houses. We all chose phi Mu.

Doubtful you would have gotten dg. Girls need two alumna to back them in order to receive a bid. Dg is completely alums driven which is why many end up hating it there. Actives have very little say in who gets a bid.
It's very common for girls in a mid house to have preffed one top and one mid. It's more rare for a girl to pref two top houses. Now those girls HAVE connections!

I had connections in all houses. I chose phi Mu. It is where I belong.
