byx getting in trouble?

Is byx getting in trouble for tying that guy up and leaving him in front of the dg house?? If any real fraternity did that it would have consequences

That's what BYX does when a guy proposes. The girl has to come out of the house and untie him. It's a harmless tradition representing the girl being more significant than his brothers.

If any "real" fraternity would have done that, there would have been alcohol involved. It's a tradition and not considered hazing.

My friend, who had a loaded resume coming out of high school and by all accounts “the one” sigma chi wanted, received his bid. He went on a brotherhood retreat and promptly dropped his bid after he returned. He said he was uncomfortable with all the drinking and hazing that sigma chi did. So he called his BYX friends and they extended him a bid. He is now an officer. This prank is a form of hazing. How will he live with himself if this is allowed to happen?
