Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 2.4 On paper they look like an awesome chapter. They have involvement and grades, but when it comes to integrity this chapter has NONE! All they care about is themselves and winning. Winning isn't everything. For years people have talked about how bad DG doesn't promote or like greek unity and the fact that they are the only group not in this homecoming group is proof. There is more to life than winning!

On paper they look like an awesome chapter. They have involvement and grades, but when it comes to integrity this chapter has NONE! All they care about is themselves and winning. Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 3.0 Yes, they are still considered a top group because of campus involvement, grades, and competitions. BUT, I really wish there was a bigger wish to reach out with the other houses and become united as a greek community. I LOVE individual members to death, but do not agree with many things that the chapter does as a whole. It is a shame that they are not respected as much as they could be but past and current actions of exec.

Yes, they are still considered a top group because of campus involvement, grades, and competitions. Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 2.8 I am an alum and I am so disappointed to read all of this. I was hoping that all of this "doing whatever it takes to WIN" was over. I hated how we did that when I was there and I can't believe it is still going on. The other sororities all worked together to vote for our Homecoming maids and I was told that I didn't have to vote for theirs. Can't believe this!!

I think your group needs to take a step back and think about what classiness and sisterhood is all about. You may still be a top tier group, but news travels and eventually your reputation will catch up with you. Class can't be bought by making your pledges bring 150 canned goods each or making your members donate a certain amount of $ toward winning limelight or derby days and respect can't be earned or maintained by always going against the group to be #1..

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 2.0 your homecoming tactics will come back to haunt you as well! When you don't work well with others and winning is everything...sometimes you lose. The greek system at state would be better served if everyone cooperated with each other instead of being against one another! Kudos to the 6 sororities who do work together!

The comments are all 100% true. DG is the house that'll determined to do things their way and not work with other sororities. DG thinks that winning is the only thing that matters. This is obvious by their rush tactics (which did not work by the way). No one will deny that DG is top tier but does that matter if no one respects you? Seems their freshmen aren't getting as involved too.
