Places a lot of value on grades, but I also know some XO's with crap grades that are really dumb. They do always have #1 GPA as a chapter though. XO is known for keeping girls in rush and telling them they want them then cutting them. Even legacies. I know 4 girls this has happened to. Definitely a great chapter full of good girls with the good reps from high school, but ties to XO or girls in the house won't count for much when it comes down to it. They take who they want.

I am not a Chi O but will say this is a very well respected group at MSU. I don't think you will get a response on this website. No group should answer any recruitment type questions on here. I suggest you contact an advisor or their recruitment chairman. Their information can be found on the MSU Panhellenic website.

I guessed at the ratings so that I could enter this question. I am a Chi O alum from another state and am curious about this chapter. I want to hear honestly from the Miss State Chi Os: What value do you place on legacies? I am talking about good girls with good reputations, but not so great grades.

Cannot argue against these ratings, it is what it is. Chi O is the best and always has been. They're a league all their own.

Yes, I am posting this in direct response to the post below and have no problem defending this group. All groups read scripture and pray during recruitment parties, so what's the issue with Chi O doing it? Most groups also claim to be nice church girls but have members who party. Comments like yours are simply a way of saying something negative about a group, especially when you make a comment on only on group's page.

I don't think that could have been said any better. After getting to know alot of them I can definitely look back and say I never met a normal girl that was a Chi O. Kinda like the Sigma Chi of sororities, quantity not quality.
