if you have REALLY great extracurriculars, activities, leadership positions, and look decently attractive you have a chance. basically if we read anything that makes you stand out A LOT you have a chance. otherwise i'd have to say no.

also, missing 1 rush party - really hurts your chances, but not completely... missing more than 1 rush party is a big problem.

Be a TriDelt, GPhi or AlphaPhi over Theta!!! Delts, Gphis & Aphis are super fun, pretty & popular. And they aren't obsessed with spending their summer on this site! Theta thinks PNMs are so upset when they get cut from Theta. Guess what?! No one cares! I was way more bummed when I got cut from DG, Phi Pi & GPhi!!

They usually try to let you make it up you just don't go when your Pi chi group goes you'll go at a different time if possible

Wow the 2012 pledge classes are going crazy this year tearing competition apart! Sad, very sad. The constant all one and low rankings are typically sabatage. Everyone knows that. So to the incoming freshman. The houses getting low-ranked every single day are threatening other competing chapters in some way, shape, or form - keep that in mind. Beautiful, popular, social, sweet, girl-next-door, sleazy, bookworms, cheerleaders and prom queens are in every chapter at Mizzou. That's why we are known as one of the best greek systems in the country, but also unfortunately that's also why girls are so insecure with their standings. Every house is soooo close to changing out with another house. The "Best" house at Mizzou really isn't that much different than the "worst" house. And if it wasn't for crazy chicks on these sites - you wouldn't be able to tell that much of a difference. These crazies just want to better their houses chances - period, done.

okay theta. you're the only one i see getting constantly lowranked. don't flatter yourself into thinking you're viewed as tougher competition than other houses like pi phi and chi o. people just don't like you, hence the low ranks.. :)

I don't know who this girl poster below is, but she's been on this website alot this year, and always trying to start trouble in between sororities. I don't know if she's an AXO, or SSS, or who, but she needs to stop. It's like she is trying to make all Greeks hate each other! Why are you doing that, "psycho girl?" Just STOP, OK? The truth is, we all get along OK, there's a healthy rivalry for HOCO, GW, etc., and between with philanthropies, but underneath it all, we're proud we're Greek. Why are you so spiteful? Are you even Greek?

point fingers at really any houses on here, everyone gets low ranked. especially sss and axo since you pointed them out. sounds like you're just trying to frame one of them, just saying.

anyways, PNM's will look at this site but if they take anything away from it, they should know that being greek in general is better than being a gdi. even if you're in a "bottom tier" house. So go in open minded, very few girls get their top choice, so go with the flow. you'll end up where you're supposed to be. sorry if I sound like a broken record, but it's true.
my top choice during recruitment was Theta, but got cut. I ended up in Pi Phi which was still a top three choice of mine, and I'm happy where I ended up.

Catty ladies who aren't going to build each others houses up just need to take a break from the computer. show us what ya got during recruitment, let the PNM's figure it out for themselves. Stop blaming others for your actions and stop hiding behind other chapters you're trying to frame. Stop dragging by-standing houses into your drama.

Okay, some people definitely take it too far with the bashing. But, some of you others are at fault too. Are you really going to tell others not to bash houses, then go on and frame AXO and Sigma? It doesn't make you seem any better than they are (the attackers, not those two houses).

I understand why some people are getting riled up. Theta is dropping in the rankings, and as a result they go post really nasty and untrue things on the houses that pass them. Is it the most mature or effective way? No, but don't expect people not to get pissed off and retaliate. Just saying.
