rushing

I'm a sophomore transfer student looking to rush in the fall. I have a 3.5 GPA and a 28 ACT. I'm very involved in student government and various other activities at my school now and in high school. I'm not a legacy and that concerns me a bit.
I have some concerns about rushing as a sophomore, so if someone could give me a little advice about how sororities react to non-freshman pnms I would really appreciate it! As of now, I really like pi phi and theta, but obviously I'm open to any of the sororities at Mizzou :)

don't bet on getting into a top house. Most sophomores that were in my pi chi group during rush got dropped from a majority of the houses and I only know of 1 sophomore who actually got into a good house. sorry. not gunna sugar coat it, its gunna be rough.

It's not everyone's goal to get into a top house. I'd say that as long as she doesn't have her mind set on a top house she'll do fine

@Spoken - im not even a theta but thanks for trying to make this a post that bashes sororities when this is clearly just a pnm trying to get some advice. Go find your drama elsewhere!

I would advise not even posting on here to get information. There are top houses that take sophomores and transfers. Tri delta takes sophomores & transfers. They are one of the best houses.

I know that this is kind of a gossip site, I just don't know where else I'm supposed to look for information because the school websites are pretty generic and basically say "Wait for rush to get this information."

Thank you all for your advice! Most has been really helpful! Fingers crossed that I get into a respectable, smart, well-rounded house that has everything that I'm hoping for. Fingers are still crossed that houses don't just cut me for being a sophomore :) -OP
