tattoos & formal recruitment

I will be a freshman this fall, and have recently started a large tattoo on my arm. Does the Greek system have anything for or against tattoos? I have a moderately high GPA, recommendation letters, and experience in volunteer work, but will my tattoos prevent me from getting a bid?
