will fraternities be having rush this coming week?
by: GuyJust wanna know if I should start contacting recruitment if a lot of fraternities will be doing recruitment events or parties or whatever for prospects during syllabus week.

I would try to make contact with recruitment chairs of the fraternities you are interested in as soon as possible. Most of spring rush for many fraternities is done in the fall and they already have the majority of their spring pledge class when school starts. You still have a chance of getting into a top fraternity though. Just contact them and if they are still taking kids they will probably take you to dinner and have you to a party. If you're the kind of guy they want they will offer you a bid
