The poster did state it was on grades, involvement, retention and sisterhood…not nationals…..It’s speaking to the campus reputation, which is where this ranking is applicable. Every chapter for each sorority has highs and lows on different campuses and different nationals reputations. If someone is going through recruitment at Mizzou I am sure they want to know what Mizzou offers…

So what if Tridelt and APhi are good nationally? Don't be so naive as to think that automatically translates to every single campus....Mizzou in this instance.

Sigma belongs in its own tier at the bottom. This recruitment will probably be their last if they can't get it together.

Lol they don’t even have enough girls to recruit with. I feel bad for the PNMs’s that have to visit that house

Now they're self-ranking like their lives depend on it. Sad!

DG to upper mid and AChiO to lower mid...just not sure where Zeta belongs but definitely no higher than this has them in lower mid (if in order, last in the tier). I know Zeta has a new house (but not that great when it comes to architecture) and that it has an event win under its belt (but not on their own without fraternity involvement).

dg and a chi o should definitely swap spots but so should kappa and zeta.. the rankings had nothing to do with event wins or architecture (not sure why that would matter anyways lol). zeta has made huge progress with grades retention and philanthropy

tobor can't possibly go to Mizzou. No way DG is upper mid. Even with a new house they are a bunch of odd girls. AChiO is just fine in upper mid. And if we are judging houses on architecture, ChiO would be bottom tier, but it's not. It's outstanding. I probably would move GPhi down a bit- one-dimensional girls with a questionable sisterhood.

How do PiPhi, Chi Omega, Theta and TriDelt remain the top houses for literally 40+ years? What does it take to bump them off their pedestal?

Success breeds success. When you are a top tier house you get the top recruits. When you get the top recruits, you ooze success. With so many outstanding women and grads who are proud of their sorority affiliation, your alumni network is stellar. When your alumni network is stellar, you have more than enough money to do whatever you want. And on and on.

why would anyone want to “bump them off their pedestal”?? they have strong sisterhood, good grades, and high retention. if anything other chapters should strive to work to their level. why should they be expected to decline after so many decades of being great?

DG has always been a good house; strong national structure. When I attended MU, Dee Gees were beauties, Golden Girls & half the cheer squad, students leaders of various groups, good grades, and a diverse mix of sisters. Think the old house was prettier.
