wonder why it is

by: Confused

Why is it that some houses are constantly COBing and scrambling to boost their numbers while other houses rarely if ever COB and can handle the loss of a few members just fine without panicking. And also some of the houses that are constantly COBing don't have the newest updated houses with big mortgages to pay, so why are they struggling financially? Is it a case of the haves and the have-nots?

I think some houses have a lot of stability and some are a revolving door. I think continuously having to COB and fill every slot is a symptom of a bigger problem. Just my opinion...

I just think some of the older sororities (TriDelt, ChiO, PiPhi, ADPi, Theta, etc.) are more financially stable, so losing a few members here and there isn't a big deal.

I think it’s all about data analysis. If you can lessen the financial burden for your members, why not ? Old sororities don’t think in those terms.
