which sororities to rush for next semester??

by: Question mark

From out of state and not many people I knew older than me chose to rush, so I never signed up for rush in the summer. Kind of fell into a group of fairly social party girls this past semester... and I like them but i want a little more out of college than what i’m getting with them and thought I could meet a lot of sweet, interesting girls with different interests who’d help me expand myself. Shamelessly creep through each house’s instagrams to see what they do and how they interact, but obviously social media isn’t the best reflection of how things actually are. I’m really interested in seeing if I’d fit in being a KD, AXO, Phi Mu, or DG. I like having fun and being on my bs, but I need some more motivated, nicer, substantive girls in my circle... could any of these houses give me that? Could care less about reputations, I’m looking at the vibe.

The DGs and AXOs I know are pretty nice people. If you can get a COB there I’d definitely go for them

They all can provide that. In fact, every sorority on this campus can provide anything you are looking for because they are all so huge. Don't limit yourself to the houses that stood out on Instagram. Social media is not the best or only reflection of what they have to offer. Go through formal rush in August, look at all of them and see where you might feel most comfortable. That's the fairest way to find out. BTW, I am from out of state and knew NO ONE when I went through rush and had a great time. People I graduated with wound up in colleges all across the country. Some have pledged, many haven't. I am still happy each and every day that I chose my house and I truly believe it is the best way to make friends for life. I wish the best for you.
