They have this solid rep...but what is it really based off of? Not much merit. They make a lovely first impression during recruitment. Hell, I loved them! But they disappear after recruitment, are not that involved in the greek system or out of it. Personally, I'd say this house is starting to lose girls to KD and Kappa.

loved chi o during recruitment - they were my 2nd choice but I know I would have loved being a chi o - super involved, cute, fun, friendly and respected chapter

Great group all around - can't really classify them like some chapters - they have scholars, athletes, beauty queens, musicians, etc. Very talented group and very respected chapter.

there are lots of really amazing, beautiful girls who would be an asset to DDD who won't even consider this chapter because of its reputation - as a result, DDD is getting less and less classy and less and less respect

you can pretty much take this group at face value - they have no delusions about being top tier - instead they focus on fun and sisterhood and making the most of their college experience - nice mid tier group

I think they've proven that they belong in mid tier due to their recent accomplishments - hopefully they will have a great recruitment next month and solidify that status.

KD was my second choice, and based off most of the women I've met and befriended, I can say I'd be happy having them as my sisters. A few are definitely a little odd, but sweet. People can talk about these ridiculous "tiers" all they want, but I think certain houses just attract different types of girls. After being in this system a few years I feel like it'd be better to group sororities that way. Girls who are super outgoing and OVERALL place a lot on looks will like DDD and GPHI. Girls who put the most emphasis on achievements will be drawn toward ADPI, THETA, CHI O and AXO. Girls who value character and are down to earth tend to wind up in KAPPA, PHI MU, and KD. Girls who like to have fun, but aren't too involved are usually in DG, APHI and PI PHI. I personally think tri sig is too new to pinpoint yet since they still get last pick during rush, and zeta's rep is constantly changing, but I guess I'd put them with the last group. So its not about "tiers," but personalities!
