Can the Crimsonettes please stop with TikTok?
by: Nerd alertIt’s embarrassing. They wear thick pantyhose, sequin swimsuits and enough hairspray to fortify the Hoover dam. They are so 1990s I can’t even. And I haven’t even gotten to how lame baton twirling is. It’s like “Roll call for girls who didn’t make cheerleading or dance team and are just a tiny bit above flag girls.” Oh, and you really won’t have time to do much with your sorority, so maybe don’t rush. And you’ll be spending all your time with the marching band.

Wow, if you don't sound jealous of college girls having fun and getting noticed for being pretty. They are out there having a ball doing something they love and are excited about in their college years. They wear what they are required to wear and style themselves as required for the Southern heat and humidity to look good on the field from the stands and on camera. They are desired in sororities because sororities always want involved and noticeable members. These girls also juggle daily practice and sorority involvement with classes, homework, studying and finals and have to keep their grades up. And they have to commit the entire gameday to what they do. Also post season and away games. Same goes for cheerleaders, dance team, flag girls, band members, and athletes. Same goes for every single college in the country with a football program. Again, wow.

OP, this is why old ladies like you should stay off spaces that you don’t belong. You obviously know nothing, including how to skip content that’s not to your liking. My dad says there are a ton of Boomer TikToks. You should look for those and support your people, instead of being so jealous over girls at schools you’ve never been to.

Tell me you didn’t make the team without telling me you didn’t make the team 😂 I mean clearly you aren’t balancing anything either if you have time to get on here and bash a bunch of talented young women simply doing what they love at a university they love. Also, plentyyy of the ladies that are in crimsonettes/colorguard/band/dance/cheer are in sororities and are active members of their houses. I know many who have served / are serving in different leadership roles and executive board positions within their sororities. They balance long practice and rehearsal hours with sorority obligations, other on campus groups, internships/jobs, not to even mention classes. You may think it’s ridiculous, but it’s not your life they’re living, but theirs. They learn a multitude of life lessons being members of these groups and make incredible memories with their friends traveling to games, competitions, and being ambassadors for UA. I can only hope you find an organization that you love and are as passionate about as they are about performing. I’m sorry that you’re so sad and bored!

None of them rushed this year so they aren’t balancing anything other than their Walmart batons.
They need to fight back about those uniforms, pantyhose, plastic boots and RIDICULOUS hair and makeup mandates. They are embarrassing when you compare them to LSU’s Golden Girls or Auburn’s Tiger Eyes.
