Kylan dropped by Phi Mu
by: :(Pretty sure Kylan was dropped by Phi Mu since she unfollowed them on instagram. Unfortunate because it seemed like her top choice based on the comments she liked. This is why it's not a good idea to have the opinions and attention of a million strangers on 17-18 year old girls going through rush. I go to UA and think she would have had a much higher chance at Phi Mu had she not been the focus of everyone trying to vicariously live through PNMS this year.

i literally remember Emma’s TT “fans” being the same and commenting everywhere and posting on GR about how she was going to be PM or KKG or some other OR house and then her being pretty clear after rush that she was cut from a lot of OR because of TT

PNMs were explicitly told that participating in Bama rush on TikTok could and would affect their options. This isn't about being an old anti-TikTok mom just that the warnings were clear and yet shockingly...girls who participated in Bama rush TikTok are having their options affected.

It is her posts and not the responses that are the problem. Most of the young ladies in these sororities like to post themselves on their own social media but do not necessarily want a sister who posts THEIR pics prolifically on nationally followed social media sites.

It’s not anti TikTok ….it’s more don’t post during rush week because you run the risk of weirdos who have nothing to do with rush deciding they don’t like you and posting 10K posts a day on places like GR using your name trying to ruin you for who knows why.
Some blame goes to her because she knew the risks posting this week but others posted too, she was just the one that got the attention of the crazies. I feel bad for her because no one deserves the posts like I’ve seen on GR this week about this poor girl. I don’t give a sh#% if she wore Gucci or Walmart shorts.

i still can't get over people thinking that brands like gucci, chanel, dior were sending PR packages to an ohio pageant queen. like not even hating on her but like what is the strategy for those european high-fashion houses in expanding their reach into...rural ohio and alabama. the fanfiction people have created around these teenagers they don't know is ridiculous

Zero doubt in my mind she would have had them at least for pref. Being a pageant queen with a good resume, small-ish following (from pageant life not internet crazies) and extracurriculars like modeling was literally all she needed
