tanning - the truth

Trust me you don't need to be tan. Lots of girls will tan or fake tan for rush because they like it. I went in very pale and got a great house (OR). Girls aren't going to judge you because you aren't tan. They talk to so many girls that at the end of the day they will barely remember what your wearing and how tan you were. Dont stress it your fine.

Important in some houses and not important in many more. Houses judge on first impressions and appearances and in some houses this includes tan. If they expect you to be perfectly bronzed for rush, they will expect that always. Do you really want to spend your college years in a house where you're not comfortable being you? If a house is going to expect you to change into a fake version of yourself then it is not for you. No shad ever on people with fake tans, if you'd love it and it works for you that is awesome . This is for all PNMs: be yourself to get into a house that you are comfortable in and values you. Follow the basic guidelines of rush but beyond that, be you so you find the best home for yourself.

are you hot being pale? stick with it.

in general most people look better tan, but not every one. if you aren't one, then don't do it

the more you read online the more you will psych yourself out... a girl is much more likely to be impressed by your personality than how much time you spent in a tanning bed. if you’re naturally pale, embrace it! wouldn’t you be more comfortable being you rather than worrying about getting a dress that covers peeling and burnt skin?

Trust me, you will look 100% better not tan than orange or burnt.
I self tan a lot because I am pale but in a way that makes me look ill and I know I won’t turn orange so it just makes me look healthy.
Most gingers I know don’t look sickly pale like I do, so I’m assuming your pale is a prettier pale than mine. Lots of girls won’t have tans and if it ain’t broke don’t fix it
