she is wearing your letters but isn't in your sorority? wowwwww!
did you make her take off the shirt? did you file a police report?
How dare she wear your letters without being your sorority! God forbid, someone actually takes her as a loser that pays for her friends because she's in a sorority!!
Seriously shut up. If you have absolutely nothing else going for you in your life that you have to "protect" your letters from outsiders...I feel bad for you.
While I agree it is awkward, but nonetheless

Being the sorority/fraternity name is copyrighted along with the letters, a person not entitled to wear the letters could face civil action. Usually, it doesn't get to that. Sometimes people are just asked not to wear them or they get sent a cease/desist letter and that solves the problem.
As a previous poster mentioned all nationals are very worried about their reputation and are stressing everyday what some member may do, let alone having someone not in the organization getting caught doing something stupid while wearing their letters.

A lot of sororities set a rule that letters can only be worn after you are initiated. It is seriously disrespectful to wear letters for an organization that you aren't affiliated with. Each letter has a meaning that only initiated members know, and letters are a privilege of initiation. Yeah, it's not the biggest deal in the world, but to go around mocking something very serious to a lot of women all over the country bc you think you look "cute" isn't cool.
