is sigma kappa coming next fall or a little later?
by: bamaboundHi there! I'm planning to go to the University of Alabama next fall, and I want to rush. I'm a Sigma Kappa legacy and was wondering if they are for sure coming next fall? I had heard it might be delayed. I'm just so excited to rush but it might be wonderful to join my grandmother's sorority. Please let me know! Thank you!

AFAIK they're definitely coming next fall.
Usually a new group participates in the open-house round. All PNMs visit the group (in the past they've used a large room in the stadium).
Then the new sorority withdraws. Two or three or so weeks after Bid Day, the new group holds interviews over several days. You may be invited back for a second interview, and then there is an invitation-only "pref party. Bids are issued the next day.

I would take a DZ bid over an SK bid any day. DZ is established and will have a brand new house. They've been on campus for decades upon decades. That whole "twin" thing is just creepy and weird.
Sigma Kappa slums need to quit trying to look so desperate by posting these fake posts and then responding to themselves.

Don't do it y'all. This post is from Sigma Kappa alums and advisors trying to create "excitement" for what will ultimately be the bottom house for years.
Only pledge SK if you get dropped from all other houses.
