how long does pledging last?

Hi im curious how long does fraternity pledging usually last? How long does it take to become a full member?

the pledge period starts roughly two weeks after the beginning of school and lasts for two months. It depends on the fraternity for when someone is a full member, at least by ritual and on paper

The progressive adult fraternities do not have a pledgeship. If you are more mature and ready for the next step after high school seek a house without a 2 tier membership process. If you want to act like you are still in high school for another 4 years and like to be in a room with your pledge brothers naked doing weird things to each other there are plenty of those type of houses. To each his own if you are not mature and wish to still act like you are still in high school for another 4 years and like to get naked with your pledge brothers and eat olives off their butts and get kinky with that paddle who am I to judge?.
