New president is fake. Acted nice to your face but probably has much to say behind it. At least for me that is. Only was nice to get votes. So hope the sorority enjoys its fake president. But what better way to represent a group of fake girls than to have the icing on the cake with the fakest person I’ve ever met as president. There are a few girls who are cool. I hope this sorority can fix its problem and eboard before it gets knocked out like dinosaurs. Don’t waste your time. This chapter is the furthest from Christian that I can even imagine.

Ummm, sure can say a lot about this so called sorority but somethings are better left unsaid. Will say this so called new president of this group of "girls" has brought this sorority down to the lowest of the low, for a sorority to claim to be religious nothing but hypocrisy is shown. I have to say from the bottom of my heart this sorority is nothing more than a joke. You all should be ashamed for your actions and what you want the public to believe. It was "once upon a time" something to be considered and a possibility to become a good sorority. If you want to hide behind religion and do the things that you do and have done you all are nothing but hypocrites. Thank GOD for the other sororities that do and stand for what they believe in, for this one, sucks, if there ever was a president that needed to be "impeached" it's this one. Oh by the way the things that she has done could be called pure evil

No president at all is better than the one ADX has now. She’s the most horrible person I have ever met. And if the national whatever thinks she’s better fitting than literally anyone else, then maybe this sorority shouldn’t exist on the UA campus. I mean it practically doesn’t since they don’t even have a house. Nothing but petty drama and rumors about literally everyone.

And if I were to cite these specific, doesn’t that counteract the confidentiality of GreekRank? Just know there were several times she acted nice to my face then had much to say behind it. She told many lies on me and I’m sure she did with others.

OK-she was catty to you. That's a lot of girls, you'll get over it. You aren't being specific (you can in a work-around way, no specifics, but details. i.e. She lied about x to y) Remember: The alternative was a truly awful person. You might not like this girl, but at least she's not M.C.

Maybe you should remember: The president of a CHRISTIAN SORORITY should NOT be a hypocrital, two-faced, liar. If they can’t find someone who can be corgile then there shouldn’t be one at all. I know many people who do not like her, 100% of them either members or past members. To be a President of a Christian sorority and then make people feel like crap is completely ridiculous. She acts like she is better than everyone. Literally. This power has went to her head, and she needs to remember that she isn’t anymore special than anyone else. And at the end of the day, it should be common courtesy to treat people like human beings, not dogs. You don’t make false accusations on people in hopes of getting them kicked out, you don’t act a completely different way to someone’s face vs behind their back, you don’t give people cold shoulders once you become president, and you don’t lie about what you have and have not done and then try to judge others for their wrong doings. To be Christian is to be accepting and to lift everyone to be their best. Especially as a Christian leader. You don’t look down on others and treat them like garbage. That says way too much about her character. This sorority used to be great and I’m afraid she’s just going to tear down what past girls built. There’s no need to continue to argue with me or anyone else because we are all entitled to our opinions. And whether or not she’s been nice to you entitles you to your opinion. End of discussion.

Sounds like politics as usual (and like you're a sister). Don't try to equate the overall nature of the sorority with how their leaders should act. Nearly every other sorority is ran by a girl who proclaims themselves Christian. I don't know the president, nor do I know any context about these events. For all we know, these girls legitimately broke one of the 21,000 rules ADX has and earned being pushed out. It sounds like you want the current president to forgo her values when it's convenient for you, and be spineless about everything else.

What I want is for the whole sorority to stop being a bunch of hypocrites. They’ve had so many girls drop this semester since getting a new president and I don’t think that’s coincidental. If you don’t know her then I’m sorry but you can’t understand the situation. I want her to live by what she preaches and be a good president. For everyone. But that’s something that idk can happen. She’s just overall not a good person. And that’s only gonna drop ADX further down.

Perhaps the worst thing about this sorority being tanked here on GR is that most of the posts seem to come from embittered ex-members or possibly from girls who are still involved. It's typical for sororities to lose girls as time passes. It's not typical for those members to regret their experience.

If you are considering rushing ADX please reconsider. There are so many issues within this sorority. I know many girls that have dropped for multiple reasons. Many girls join because they would like to be in a sorority but can not afford a different sorority or they like the idea of joining a Christian organization. They don’t have a house. They have a very limited social presence because of rules about alcohol so they only swap with the two Christian fraternities. The only time the organization really touts their Christianity is when they are using it to ostracize, shame and bully some of their own sisters. Very cliquey. Former exec boards have been involved in a good bit of scandals. There are some awesome girls that are members of ADX but ADX as a whole organization is horrible. I’ve heard many members say that they regret joining/ want to drop/ did not get the experience they expected.

The post on the Alabama Student Ticket exchange where their member and “Spirit Chair” was trying to find a boyfriend was so cringe. I can’t believe their leadership would allow that on such a public forum. Also lol to “best cat noises,” because that’s really not weird at all.

Just looked up the news coverage for their friend who died after reading reviews on this page. It was more cringeworthy than I thought. The bid day video also looked kind of sad. I asked around about how ADX fell so far and was told it was due to their lack of pr smarts as well as their lack of true Christianity. I feel bad that a group that is based on a shared faith is so divided.

Terrible, terrible group to be a part of. Just because you like single members does not mean you should join them. Such a dysfunctional “sorority.” There are religious women in every sorority the only difference is these women use the bible as a weapon instead of a guide. Consider joining a church group before looking towards joining these ladies. I feel sad for their new members and hope they drop before initiation. That’s when it all changes.
