Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 1.0 I was a SK new member and was treated extremely poorly. I guess they thought they were better than me, even though they were so new. I wish they had not invited me to pref, I’m still not sure why they did. Because the sorority is so new, it has so many issues internally that you won’t know about until being there for a while. Most girls in leadership positions have no idea what they’re doing and would never be able to answer questions. Sad I won’t be greek but I’m too hurt to try again. It felt like they wanted me to drop and it worked. Some girls were kind and I still talk to but overall I would no recommend.

The other half are people with bad or weird personalities. Most are heavily involved because they think being Greek is a personality trait/achievement. Should be a hint on their status. Self perceived elitist, externally bottom-tier.

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 4.2 These girls are seriously so nice and amazing to hang with and I'm so glad they joined campus a few years ago!! They are going through what all new chapters have coming to campus: not having a reputation past "the new girls idk" and PNMs judging their house instead of their sisterhood/personalitie s. Hopefully this year they'll get some amazing new members that see the love they have for each other since recruitment is over zoom. It will get better every year! and once they get that Alabama level mansion, they will be on the same playing field as everyone else finally but probably have a better sisterhood to show for it.

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 5.0 My roommate was in this sorority and changed my perspective on Greek life (I didn’t rush). She is still one of my best friends today and showed me that you’re able to have fun with your friends while balancing good grades and and working out etc. She is one of the most genuine people I’ve met.
