If y'all wanted to participate in formal rush there's 100% a way. At this point you're just choosing to be selfish. Sad truly... And it's ironic y'all want support from the real Greek community? Yet y'all don't want to support us? LOL.

A lot of people in this Greek community are sick of SDT. At the end of the day, there are no grudges or anything however many actives in various houses do not think it's fair for SDT to not participate in formal rush. They're an NPC sorority. Period. That alone should force them to participate in formal rush. On top of that, the other 16 NPC sororities are struggling. We're bursting at the seems and SDT just gets to sit back and enjoy their 60 girls? THIS is the problem people have with SDT. Shape up or ship out.

Another active here and although I wish they could participate in formal, I don't think they're allowed to... They don't have nearly enough girls. I'm sure they'd love to get a house on row and be treated as equals but the greek community has to support them first. With Greek Life support they can gain in numbers and then in the near future participate in formal. As you've probably noticed, they've been slowly but surely growing. Soon they'll have the number to participate in formal, but not yet.

do you really think that we dont want a nice house on the row or to participate in formal recruitment? we would absolutely love to! and i mean this respectfully but the issues you have should be taken up with panhellenic, not us. we arent the ones deciding not to do those things, we arent allowed to. there is a quota for the number of girls that you need to participate in formal recruitment, and even if there werent, every single one of our girls would have to be at every single recruitment event and we would still be outnumbered by pnms. were doing our best, we arent just sitting around doing nothing, we throw two recruitment events a year, we participate in continuous open bidding, and we spend a lot of time focusing on recruitment strategies. i know its probably easy for you guys because you have name recognition and 500 girls to do the work, so please try to imagine how hard we have to work with less than 1/5 of what you guys have and little name recognition on campus. we are working our tails off to grow,, but there are circumstances beyond our control. we have sat down with panhellenic and made a growth plan to get us on track, we are doing what is best for us and what we need to do to grow, and im pretty sure that the people who created that plan know what theyre doing. not trying to be rude but its exhausting being told you arent doing enough when youre busting your butt to do better. it doesnt happen overnight. we are 25x bigger than we were in 2011, that says a lot
