Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity Ratings at CU

Enough of the grinding from other frats below. Pike has been on the rise with the past 3 pcs having a lot of studs. Their physical space and disjointed brotherhood keeps them from being a top frat but on par if not better than lambda and pikapp atm(even though they can’t throw this sem)

Probably the biggest thing Pike has going for them is their intramural sports. They usually do decently well and definitely give it a good effort, unlike their neighbors that don't really care.

What are they known for, being smart I guess? House is pretty bad compared to almost every other fraternity. Rarely hosts good parties and if they do it's always cramped b/c the basement fits 50 people tops (aka the entire brotherhood and that's it).

In an open feud with SAE. Pike's are usually involved on campus and active in the social scene, despite lackluster parties. Considered one of the Core Four Mids (Pike, PiKapp, PSK, and PhiTau).

Easily the best mid-tier frat to join at this point. Great sorority relations (KD, AEPhi, Pi Phi, etc), good brotherhood, and rock-solid alumni that keep them supported. Can only really see them improving further from here. Ignore the grinders below, Pike and Tridelt don’t have beef by any means but barely mix.

Let's be real, Pike's brotherhood is strong and the guys seem to have a good time. But don't forget who they mix with ... TriDelt. Any frat that mixes with DDD for more than a pity mixer should be avoided if you care about social scene even a little. For that reason alone, they're at best a lower mid frat.

the stuff on this page is so toxic. everyone knows pike guys aren’t the biggest partiers but they’ll probably mix with KD in like 2 weeks after their sopro ends (KD is down bad rn so they’ll def go) And yes, they do mix with tri-delt like once a week but it’s a frat full of guys who are more than happy to do so. even if pike is far from the top or upper tier houses, I doubt their brothers are really stressing about that (they’re probably doing problem sets), and that’s overall a positive for everyone in greek life.

All these reviews from the past week are crazy (both for and against the frat), let me try to give a more legitimate picture of Pike. Frat is mostly for guys who probably could have gotten a bid at somewhere a little bit “higher” but didn’t want Greek life to become their entire life. Because of this, the brotherhood is a little disconnected, but full of great guys. They mix mainly with KD and AEPhi, but will sometimes throw bigger parties (Piketoberfest, Pike on Ice, etc) that people from all over the Greek scene come to. Other than the parties, they have date nights, formals, and wine tours every semester along with brotherhood events. Outside of the Greek scene, they’re probably also one of the most well-liked frats on campus. In summary - solid mixing schedule, disjointed but fun brotherhood, and great rep. Join for a balanced experience.

There’s a lot of review bombing happening on this page lol. KD is Pike’s sister sorority, they definitely have not lost relations with them. On top of that they mix often with AEPhi, and then sometimes with Pi Phi and Tridelt. Any review saying they only have relations with Tridelt right now is total cap, ask anyone in Greek Life
