When did frats become obsessed with their own rankings?

They seem more interested in that than they are with girls. What is going on?

It is interesting that many seem to be more interested in the other frats than in sororities. Maybe some of them rank other frats because they just aren't interested in girls.

There is nothing wrong with that. This is 2017.
