just aren't as good as they think they are. Speak to girls who just rushed - the only ones desperate to get in are legacy girls - the others couldn't care less.

It is pretty obvious that XO and Theta lost some girls they wanted to Phi Mu. I am not going to post any numbers for Phi Mu or go on Chi O or Theta's site and give them low numbers. But this is really sad that they sororities would make comments about Phi Mu. If they are so much better, then why is it they are posting comments on this silly website?

It is not necessary for Phi Mu to address this obvious jealousy by giving themselves 5s on here. Nor do they go on other sororities sites and post negative comments. These comments that are written by "so called" Phi Mus are in reality likely written by girls who were cut in rush or who are non-Greek and jealous of Greeks. I have many friends who are non- Greek and are quite happy and satisfied with their college experience. But, it is the non-Greeks wantabees who are jealous of Greeks who often stir up trouble. Phi Mu is a much sought after sorority and has an excellent reputation. But every sorority at UGA has its strong points and share of great girls. Don't buy into all this garbage on Greek Rank. Most sorority girls do not waste their time on it. And I assure you, Phi Mu is doing great at UGA and really doesn't give any credence to this website.

Many sororites had snap bids this year. Sometimes the most desirable sororites have snap bids because they have to cut really great girls early in rush. But Phi Mu did not have any snap bids this year. I'm not commenting on which sororites had snap bids because that is really not important. Please know that about 10% of what you are reading here is true. I'm not making comments about any other sorority, but know that Phi Mu is a great sorority at UGA, with an excellent reputation, and has a strong national organization. Phi Mu is known as being stronger in the South because that is where they got their start. The majority of girls do not join a sorority because of the national organization or strength of the sorority at other schools. And it is nice to associate with alums after college, but your sorority rarely opens doors for you after college.

with what you said except for the sorority opening doors. If you are a Phi Mu outside of Georgia how would you know if a sorority could open doors or not? You would not have experienced it. But a XO, Theta, PiPhi, DDD, etc will find alums who network and it can be a starting point to opening doors.

Here we go again with the insinuation that Theta and ChiO are so much better. What is with these girls? Why are you so jealous of other sororities?

I don't believe anyone insinuated any such thing about XO or Theta. Please re read the post by "agree". It mentions many nationally known soroities. You have a real chip on your shoulder regarding those 2 houses

ok. you made your point about the national network and the possibility that you might find a connection that might possibly open a door. In reality this is a very slight "possibility". But ok, there is that possibility. Still, I don't think that the majority of girls are going to get a job based on a sorority connection. So lets agree that you made a little point and move on.

PhiMu is no longer a great sorority at UGA.
