Srats rant- you’ve been warned
by: ranterSrats rant- There is no top! There are about 4 sororities where 50%-75% of their members are from around atlanta. They all decided they were “top” and keep fighting each other over it on greek rank. It is the same status fight they had in HIGH SCHOOL! And everyone else just says “ok. it’s on greek rank. it must be true” Honestly. Most of the sororities don’t care and stay off of greek rank. Let’s be clear. Sorority girls have friends in other sororities. All sororities have socials, frat relations, charity events, etc. Decide what you think about each srat based in the members in real life! Decide based on vibes and personalities. Do not decide based on fake ranks and especially not what this stupid site tells you to think.

I know three Buckhead private school girls who were rushed hard by several chapters and all three went to pref with one of the so-called 'top' houses and one other that this site calls 'mid' or 'upper mid' or whatever, different combos of 'top' and 'mid' for each girl. All three went with their gut and put their 'mid' pref house as their number one and got it. They are loving their chapters and their sorority life, none of them have the slightest regret, and all hang out with both their sorority sisters and their high school friends in other chapters. To say that there are a few chapters better than others is ridiculous - the members are not better, the chapter is not better, what they do and how they live is not better.

I preffd phi mu and theta. They both made it clear they only cared about who got the best Atl area private school girls. The “top” sororities actually fight over the atl girls! They basically told me they did not want any other GA area girls so they even favored OOS over GA girls not from Atl. That is BS! This is UGA in Athens, not Atlanta. No one considers Atl “southern” any way but Intentionally not taking girls from other parts of GA is very elitist. All of those “top” sororities do it and brag about it. I’m surprised they haven’t gotten in trouble with pan or nationals yet.

Please girl, you didn't "pref" anywhere, so many tells in your story. If you're going to pretend on greekrank you need to be a whole lot more convincing.

So which sororities specifically are full of ATL private school girls? Want to be in a good sorority but I definitely don't want to have to deal with that ATL drama and feel like I have compete with that. I'm from an rural county east of Gwinnett and went to "public" school.

There are Atlanta private school girls in many of the sororities and they don't all bring drama. There are going to be drama queens in every chapter no matter what. Don't worry about it. If you really are concerned then just pay attention to the other pnm's going through rounds with you and in the dorms during the week, hear what they are saying and see the other pnm's they are hanging with and go from there.

To say one sorority is better than another is saying the girls are better. Which can’t be true bc they’re all friends. Really they’re just saying the “better” sororities have the most atl or even oos girls. Dumbest thing ever bc they’re rest GA and the south do not want to be in a sorority with mainly atl area members.
