Sort of, but you if you don't have any idea about fraternities here then you need to go to a bunch of different ones first to see what you think. You usually know right away if they are not a fit so you won't waste your time. Then you narrow it down to the ones you like and see if they are interested in you. From there you should focus on not more than three. Just picking one house you want at first and only rushing there doesn't mean you'll get a bid. A lot of rushing happens over the summer. A lot. But it's not like sorority rush in the least.
