should i rush a non-uoft frat?
by: BahenBoiI'm a second year at UofT who is interested in rushing a frat in order to make connections and increase my network. I was wondering if there is any difference between the frats that only take UofT students and the ones that accept students from Ryerson, York, George Brown, etc.

Look into Beta, SigmaChi, Zeta - all good frats, great brotherhood. Top tier.
DON'T waste your time on Lambda, PhiGamma/Fiji, and TDX. They are Bottom tier, low level, no money, no class frats.

I like the fact that Sigma Chi and Lambda Chi Alpha are on campus. It would be really nice to pay cheap rent while being close to my classes. Kinda concerned about the reputation at Sigma Chi though. Is it true that they broke a girls knees last year or is it just rumours? Also, is there any particular reason not to check out Lambda Chi Alpha? Thanks

Love how you're trying to slyly throw shade at both the houses by trying to play it off with a compliment about their location. Go for yourself and check out the houses if you really have those concerns instead of posting here and trying to stir up drama

Take everything on this site with a grain of salt. Most of it is false and there's lots of haters. Like the other person said it's better to check them out yourself and make your own judgement

On campus really isn’t an issue since all of UofT Greek life (minus Pi phi I guess) is like a less than five minute walk from one another

A lot of what is said on Greekrank is close to the truth - just different versions.
Note: Sigma has been unfairly targeted by the actions of one person who is no longer part of their fraternity.
Unfortunately, some people don't know how to move on.
Every single frat has a couple of problem brothers.
Every year there are issues, and there is drama with both fraternities and sororities.
Ever watch "Survivor", it's like that.
