Greek life isn't as great as other schools, mostly because it's small and the school doesn't officially recognize it (aka no greek week or campus houses). However, the frats and sororities I know have all been amazing and full of some of the best people I know. Nice, caring, strong sisterhoods/brotherhood 's and very involved in philanthropy. They have greek council, which promotes great relations between the frats and sororities. In my opinion the best sorority is Delta Phi Nu and Kappa Phi Xi and the best fraternity is Kappa Sigma.

York Univeristy’s greek life is smaller then other schools, however with the new Greek Life Council on campus all the organizations are growing! Kappa Phi Xi is one of the newer sororities and one of the founding organizations for the council, love being a member!

I love Greek life at York because there is a large community full of amazing people, being a part of Gamma Delta Nu has giving me a purpose beyond academics to expand the University experience, since York is a commuter school finding friends has been a struggle and Gamma Delta Nu has been my outlet.

Greek Life is small but they still keep it going strong! Lots of options to choose from on the sorority side but fraternities not as much. Personally think Kappa Sigma is the best fraternity on campus and the best sorority would have to be Tau-Sigma-Phi

The top fraternity at this school is definitely Phi Delta Theta and the top sorority is most likely Tau Sigma Phi because both are very active and very social! If you are thinking about rushing a fraternity or a sorority, I would rush those two

Greek life is not very developed at york. As can be seen with the reviews on this website, the only sorority and fraternity that care about these ratings are KPX and Kappa Sigma, hence why they constantly upvote each other. IMO the best frat is probably Phi Delta Theta and best sorority either DFN or GDN.
